Welcome to the New Orleans Weavers Guild

In 1952, a group of local weavers joined forces to create the NOWG and the guild has been going strong since then.  Today's members weave, spin, dye, and together, find ways to further their skills and share them with New Orleans community through demonstrations at various events throughout the city.

Everyone is welcome from the experienced weaver to the complete neophyte. Members live in the New Orleans and surrounding area as well as in neighboring states.
